Something a little sooner than this but perhaps requiring more effort than one puts into working on their tan, is the Outsurance 94.5 KFM Gun Run in October. A popular Cape Town event attracting some 10 000 participants, one can choose between a 21km half marathon, 10km run and 5km fun run/walk. The half marathon takes runners along a beautiful route including the Sea Point and Green Point promenade, V&A Waterfront Camps Bay.
Camps Bay isn’t only about luxurious living, mouth-watering meals, beach fun and gorgeous sunsets. Cape Town’s most beautiful theatre throws some culture into the mix too. Currently on show at the Theatre on the Bay is ‘Defending the Caveman’. In this ‘date show’, the entertaining Alan Committie explores the differences and similarities between the sexes. Watch and laugh as Committie hilariously defends the sometimes primitive behaviour of the today’s cavemen. This show comes to an end on the 28th of August.
